A few reminders about membership with the new AZRID:

  • Individual, student, and supporting members of AZRID will be eligible to participate in AZRID decision making and serve in leadership roles*, regardless of certification or membership with the national organization of RID.

*Currently, dual membership is required to hold the positions of AZRID President or Treasurer and to vote for these positions.

  • To vote at the national level, dual membership with RID and an affiliate chapter is required. AZRID members are “dual members” if they hold individual, student, or supporting membership with AZRID and membership with RID (certified, associate, retired, student, or supporting).

  • These changes to membership were made to support inclusion and community in Arizona. The new structure gives all members a voice and provides opportunities for representation and leadership within groups who may have been excluded in the past. We hope you will join us as we continue to improve and grow the organization!
